Supported Community Connection

Growing Independence. Strengthening Community.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to be an active, valued, and connected member of their community. Common Roots’ Supported Community Connections program helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build relationships, explore their interests, develop skills, and participate in meaningful community activities.

Our days are filled with opportunities to connect, learn, contribute, and have fun. Activities may include volunteering, exploring local events and activities, staying active, building friendships, practicing everyday life skills, and discovering new interests.

Most importantly, you have a voice in how you spend your time. We work with each individual to create meaningful experiences based on their interests, goals, strengths, and preferences—because community involvement should be about more than being present. It should be about belonging.

Because Everyone Deserves to Belong

At Common Roots, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and connection. Together, we’re building more inclusive communities where every individual can thrive.
